Moral Value Kisah Nabi Yusuf Perspektif Filsafat Sejarah

Abstract

This study examines Surah Yusuf, described as the best story in Surah Yusuf verse 3, through a thematic approach based on the interpretative perspective of historical philosophy. In academic studies, the interpretation of Surah Yusuf is often limited to historical narratives or moral lessons, without emphasizing the universal values that can be applied to modern life contexts. This research aims to bridge that gap by exploring the wisdom embedded in the story of Prophet Yusuf and its relevance in shaping contemporary life values. Utilizing a library research method with a thematic interpretation approach and descriptive-synthetic data analysis, this study focuses on uncovering the moral and spiritual values from the narratives of Prophet Yusuf in Surah Yusuf as a source of exemplary guidance. The findings reveal that the story of Prophet Yusuf offers key lessons, such as patience in facing trials, the ability to control desires, a forgiving attitude, and resilience in overcoming despair. These values are not only moralistic but also relevant in fostering individual character to address the challenges of modern life.
