PENEGAKKAN HUKUM DALAM PERSPEKTIF AL-QURAN STUDI TAFSIR IBNU KATSIR

Abstract

This research aims to describe the concept of law enforcement in al-Qur'an perspective based on Ibn Katsir's interpretation. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method, through a review of primary and secondary literature, including books of interpretation, scientific documents, and other relevant sources. The results show two main findings. First, Ibn Kathir asserts that God's law (sharia) must be enforced fairly, without the intervention of certain personal or group interests. He rejects all forms of legal manipulation for one-sided gain. Second, according to Ibn Kathir, upholding justice is a manifestation of faith and devotion to Allah. The principle of justice must be the foundation in all aspects of Muslim life, whether in social, economic or political contexts.
