Pengembangan Aplikasi Pembelajaran Matematika Berbasis Android untuk Siswa Sekolah Dasar

Matematika sering dianggap sebagai mata pelajaran yang sulit oleh peserta didik, yang berdampak pada rendahnya pencapaian hasil belajar. Kesulitan ini tidak hanya disebabkan oleh metode pembelajaran konvensional yang masih umum digunakan, tetapi juga karena karakteristik matematika yang abstrak dan menuntut pemahaman logis serta konseptual yang kuat. Untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut, diperlukan media pembelajaran yang mampu menyajikan materi dengan cara yang lebih menarik, interaktif, serta mudah dipahami. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan aplikasi pembelajaran matematika berbasis Android bagi siswa kelas IV SD sebagai alternatif digital yang efisien dan fleksibel. Aplikasi ini memungkinkan siswa untuk belajar di mana saja dan kapan saja tanpa perlu membawa buku paket atau perangkat tambahan lainnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Aplikasi dirancang berdasarkan kurikulum nasional serta hasil analisis kebutuhan siswa, dan dikembangkan menggunakan kerangka kerja Kotlin Compose. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui usability testing dengan instrumen System Usability Scale (SUS) yang diisi oleh 20 siswa. Hasil menunjukkan skor rata-rata sebesar 81,88 yang termasuk dalam kategori “baik”. Aplikasi dinilai menarik, mudah digunakan, dan membantu siswa memahami materi secara mandiri. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran digital yang efisien dan berbasis kebutuhan pengguna dapat memberikan solusi efektif dalam mendukung pembelajaran matematika di tingkat sekolah dasar.
