Maqāṣid Surat Al-Zalzalah (Studi Kajian Tafsir Hasbi Ash-Shiddiqey Dan Tafsir Ibnu ‘Arabi)

Abstract

This aims to achieve a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the meaning of Surah Al-Zalzalah from the perspective of maqashidi interpretation by uncovering the maqashid aspects in the exegeses of Hasbi Ash-Shiddieqy in Al-Qur'an Al-Majid An-Nur and Ibn 'Arabi in Al-Qur'an Al-Karim. Using a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach, this literature review analyzes primary data from the exegeses of Hasbi Ash-Shiddiqey and Ibn 'Arabi. The findings indicate that Surah Al-Zalzalah contains important messages about the Day of Judgment, human accountability, and the consequences of even the smallest deeds. Asbab al-nuzul also confirms that every action will receive its due reward from Allah. Maqashidi analysis reveals the presence of maqashid syariah aspects in this surah, namely the protection of religion, life, and property. The fundamental values encompass responsibility, justice, and kindness. These findings contribute to the development of Quranic studies and exegesis, where the profound meanings of this surah can be comprehensively explored through the maqashidi approach, making it relevant as a guide in the past and a solution for contemporary challenges, emphasizing the continuous practice of doing good deeds.
