Penguatan Nilai-Nilai Moderasi Beragama Bagi Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam Di Lingkungan Lembaga Pendidikan Ma’arif Nahdlatul Ulama Kota Metro Lampung

Radicalism and acts of violence are currently a concern of the global and national community. One of the efforts to prevent radicalism that is being fought is to campaign for strengthening the values of religious moderation. One of the rule models in building the strengthening of religious moderation values in schools is Islamic Religious Education teachers, but in reality there are still PAI teachers in the LP Ma'arif NU Metro Lampung environment who still do not have good insight into the values of religious moderation. To overcome this, the UMALA lecturer team through the PkM activity program, seeks to provide an understanding of the values of religious moderation as well as invite to disrupt the strengthening of religious moderation values for PAI teachers in order to counteract radicalism in Indonesia. The purpose of this community service is to increase the understanding of PAI teachers about religious moderation in order to realize community harmony in Indonesia and at the same time have awareness to ward off radicalism that can damage the order of life of the nation and state. The approach method used in Community Service is using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. Based on the results of community service activities, it was obtained that the seminar activity had been successful because it had increased the understanding of PAI teachers about the values of religious moderation. There was a 90% increase in post-test results where previously it was only 60%
